I love picking up bottles at thrift stores, so I had myself a little collection. I also love washi tape, I just can't have enough! I decided to make some washi tape milk bottles.
After cleaning out the bottles really well, I spray painted them white. The washi tape is really colorful and I wanted the bottles to be as uniform as possible. I figured by painting them white, the colors of the washi tape would stand out more.
After the paint dried I put the washi tape around the vases, added some fake flowers and a rossette. It was such a quick and easy project that brightens up my kitchen.

Those are just gorgeous! Love that you spray painted the bottles first too. I do love washi tape!
ReplyDeleteThey look gorgeous! Cheap to chic :) Did you prime the bottles first or just spray white on?
ReplyDeleteThese turned out great! The white spray paint was definitely the way to go. It really makes the washi tape pop. I might have to try this. I bought some washi tape but haven't used it yet.
ReplyDeleteThese look great!
