up cycling a mirror pt 2

Remember a few weeks ago I posted about these up cycled mirrors... well, here is another one I made using the same process.
I used one of my old IKEA mirrors that was already painted white.
Put some painters tape on it, and painted over it with black paint.
I just put a 4 x 4 picture over the mirror, and hot glued on a "W" that I bought at the craft store and painted it black as well. I used sandpaper to give it a worn look. And that's it!

  6. This is great! Is that one of those IKEA mirrors? I have one of those around here somewhere... unless I donated it to goodwill already. I love this- if I can find it, I need to do something similar :) Thanks for sharing!

  7. LOVE this!! How did you get your painters tape chevron so neat and evenly spaced? I want to do something like this but I think freehanding it would turn out sketchy...lol. Yours is gorgeous though! Love! Would you share it here?

  14. This is the first chevron-themed project I've seen that is distressed...and I absolutely LOVE it! Honestly? I haven't been a fan of chevron - hope nobody throws chevron-painted tomatoes at me - but now seeing it distressed puts the theme into a style that I truly adore! So: thank you for that!
